- Successful Fund Raising Committee Venture was accomplished through the sale of Atlantic Lotto. Mr. Richard was authorized to sell Lotto tickets by acquiring a "number'. Chairperson: Mr. Remy Richard.
- "Fiesta Filipino" Celebration : This was an all day celebration,televised, Dartmouth Cable Vision, Channel 10, June 24,1978.

- Two Grants were received:
- (a) Federal Grant, Minister of State for Multiculturalism. Chairperson: Mr. Remy Richard. The grant Money was used partly for the travel expenses (please see (b) below),and the whole-day Multicultural Celebration.
- (b) Provincial Grant, Department of Recreation. Chairperson :Mr. Remy Richard. The grant money was used for the travel expenses of the FANS DANCE TROUPE to the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton,Alberta. The troupe represented the Province of Nova Scotia !
