  • The "Green Paper" on Immigration and Population:    Mr. G.Cliffe-Phillips& Dr.J.R. Asuncion,Jr. presented on behalf of the Society, a six page Brief concerning our reaction to the Green Paper on Immigration and Population  to the Special Joint Committee of Parliament on Immigration Policy. We  re-emphasized the importance of Filipino Professional immigrants to an immigrant country  like Canada.  Lord Nelson Hotel, Halifax,June 26,1975.

  • The Society  presented "Filipino Night" Program .  Mrs. Rosalinda Hamilton, as an organizer,presented this in one of a series of cultural evenings sponsored by the Multicultural Association of N.S.    at the International  Educational Center,1975.
