- The Highlights of the Main Events and Achievements of Mrs. Erlinda Y. Obellos Asuncion's Administration:
- The "F.A.N.S. Newsletter was published for the first time. Eng. Marc Guzman was the first Editor-in-Chief.
- The "Hermano-Hermana" System was organized and proposed by Dr. J. R. Asuncion, Jr. The system consisted essentially of a rotating sponsorship of social functions. It was arranged and financed by the group " on deck". The Society was divided into five groups.
- Christmas Celebration:
- This was held at the Hotel Nova Scotian. We had a Dinner & Dance . For Dinner,the choice was salmon or chicken. Food- excellent. The choice of DJ was a good one. We all enjoyed dancing! December 24,1971.
- Independence Celebration:
- The 1972 Philippine Independence Celebration was held at the Flamingo Restaurant & Lounge. We had Buffet Diner and dance presentations. June 12,1972.
- U.C.F.A.C. National Conference:
- The National Conference of the United Council of Filipino Associations in Canada was held in Toronto,Ontario. Dr. J. R. Asuncion,Jr. was elected as The Delegate to the U.C.F.A.C. Dr. Asuncion paid for all the expenses. These were the days !
