The FANS BAND revived many

A Little Piece of the Philippines sprung up in Haifax on Thursday, 12 April,2012 as hundreds of Filipino newcomers gathered at the WORLD TRADE & CONVENTION CENTER.
It was converted into a MINI-CONSULATE---
COMPLETE with a visit by the PHILIPPINE
AMBASSASOR TO CANADA--- all to meet the needs of a growing Filipino Community. The
CBC's Elizabeth Chiu reports.
As a Consular Clinic Passports were processed.
Dr. Elizabeth Eustaquio-Domondon, Former
FANS President spoke.
The Philippine Ambassador to Canada, His
Excellency, Honourable Leslie Gatan spoke
about the functions of the Consulate briefly
as well as Trade & Tourism.
The Filipino Association of Nova Scotia hopes
that there will be more CONSULAR OUTREACH
PROGRAMMES like this kind in the future.
